Candles are coloured all the way through and not dipped for added spell effectiveness. They are approx 10cmx1cm and burn for approx 1 - 1.5 hours. Never leave an open flame unattended. 
  
Practice 
  
Candle magick is one of the simplest forms of magick and is great for beginners and advanced practioners alike. A simple method of practice would be to first charge or cleanse your candle before your ritual to increase its effectiveness, this can be achieved with simple meditation and intuition.  Then set your intentions on a piece of paper and place near the candle.  
  
You can then start to carve runes, words or symbols into the candle and annoint your candle with different blends of herbs and oils with the associations  and correspondences of your desired result. A good tip to remember would be to coat the candle from top to middle, then bottom to middle if you are casting a manifestation spell, and coat it from middle to top then middle to bottom if you are caasting a banishing spell.  
  
When you are ready and feel intuitively it is time to start then proceed to light your candle and meditate over the flame visualising your desires.  You may chose to burn your paper intention in the flame for enhancement and release in a fire safe bowl. You are now working with transformatiev fire (flame,) earth (candle,) air (the air to feed it and the smoke,) and water (the dripping wax.) For added effectiveness it also helps to align your spell with astrological placements. For example, for attracting and manifesting goals wait until a new moon, or to cast a spell of love or passion wait for Venus to be in Libra.
